Dr Edwards completed her DVM and PhD at the University of Guelph and spent 11 years in private practice as a cattle veterinarian. Her interests lie in how management, nutrition, and health intersect to influence outcomes in both beef and dairy cattle. Her lab will focus on youngstock health as well as general nutrition and management of beef and dairy animals, with the overarching goal of improving health outcomes and reducing antimicrobial use and condemnation.
