Katie Wood

Associate Professor - Animal Biosciences

Dr. Wood is an Associate Professor in Beef Cattle Nutrition and Physiology. She obtained her Ph.D. in ruminant nutrition and physiology from the University of Guelph in 2013 and did her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Saskatchewan after. She focusses on understnading gut barrier function and nutritent absorption in ruminants and their interactions with health, metabolic disease and production efficiencies.
