Evaluating economic and environmental outcomes of pasture management

What is this project about?

Grazed forage is the most cost-effective feed for ruminant livestock production systems. This work aims to decrease cost of production for beef producers by increasing pasture productivity and extending the grazing season. The potential of various annual forages to provide mid-summer and fall grazing will be explored.
